My client, an international leader in the FMCG space, is looking for a Part Qualified Accountant to join their commercial team as a Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to gain business partnering experience and would suit someone coming from a practice or industry background.
- Lead period-end and in-period financial reporting
- Partner with stakeholders for effective accrual management
- Manage balance sheet reviews
- Raise intercompany invoices and liaise with external stakeholders
- Act as key contact for external audits
- Prepare period-end accounts, trading contribution analysis, and reconciliations for trade investment and balance sheets
- Ensure timely invoice preparation and reconciliation of accounts
- Approve promotional activities and manage adjustments and provisions
- Provide financial support to Sales/Commercial teams and Finance Control
- Perform deep-dive promotion analyses and ad-hoc support to Business Partners
- Identify process improvement opportunities
- Manage risks, provisions, and prepare audit materials related to investment spend
Requirements
- Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent
- Strong understanding of financial principles
- Strong Excel skills
- Mainline ERP experience e.g. SAP, Oracle
- Excellent communication skills
