Job Description
We are recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in either Oranmore, Galway, or Tubbercurry, Sligo. The successful candidate will work alongside the Project Director/Contracts Manager to ensure successful project delivery, while maintaining strong relationships, maximising commercial returns, and managing risk.
- Preparing tenders, analysing and selecting appropriate subcontractors, finalising orders, and managing financial and commercial aspects to Final Account completion.
- Preparing and presenting forecasts, targets, and cost value reconciliations.
- Preparing and agreeing valuations, including generating certificates and handling invoicing and payments.
- Maintaining and protecting Our Client's commercial and contractual entitlements.
- Reviewing and updating the project risk/opportunity plan, monitoring for changes, and considering them within any forecast reports.
- Providing tender support and working with the pre-construction department on tenders, including two-stage tenders.
