Job Description
Quantity Surveyor sought for commercial team assisting with projects in Residential, Commercial, Public, Education, Leisure, Fit Out, Pharmaceutical, Energy & Healthcare sectors.
The Company has been operating for over 85 years within the construction sector and is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to assist with commercial team projects. This is a vibrant company that invests heavily in its staff as it does in its clients.
**The Role**
• Liaise with clients and project managers to manage commercial and contractual aspects of relationships with customers, consultants and subcontractors
• Prepare tendering projects, interim valuations, and variations
• Compile and issue invitations to tender, analyse subcontractor quotations and make recommendations for placement of orders
• Attend pre-contract meetings, liaise with a wide range of construction professionals, and ensure timely completion of jobs
• Assist in the guidance and development of junior surveyors
• Assess subcontractor payment entitlement and process payments
• Manage project performance and report to management team
• Work closely with contract and site management staff to support the smooth running of the office and the site
**Requirements**
• Hold a Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
• Highly motivated and hard-working individual who can work on their own or as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Great written and verbal communications skills
• 3+ Years Experience
