Job Title: Site Engineer
A leading main contractor seeks a skilled Site Engineer in Cork City, Ireland. You will play a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of projects and contributing to our commitment to quality and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
Setting Out: Utilise surveying instruments to accurately set out building lines, levels, and infrastructure on construction sites.
Quality Control: Monitor and maintain quality control procedures, ensuring construction work meets design specifications and industry standards.
Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to on-site teams, addressing and resolving engineering-related issues.
Construction Planning: Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop and implement construction plans, considering project specifications and timelines.
Health and Safety Compliance: Enforce and adhere to health and safety regulations on-site, promoting a safe working environment.
Site Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records, including as-built drawings, survey data, and other relevant documentation.
Qualifications:
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Site Engineer in the construction industry.
Proficient in the use of surveying instruments and AutoCAD.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
