Job Description
Manage a team of electricians at a client site in Westmeath, overseeing electrical projects, supervising contract personnel, and ensuring safety standards are met. Lead by example, mentoring apprentices and maintaining a positive work environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop a safe work culture and support safety initiatives
- Supervise contract personnel and ensure safety procedures are followed
- Scope, budget, plan, and execute electrical projects
- Design, plan, and implement electrical projects and infrastructure work
- Liaise with stakeholders and identify opportunities for electrical maintenance team training
- Liaise with suppliers and consultants to resolve technical issues
- Develop and maintain electrical documentation and drawings systems
Requirements:
- Trade Qualified Electrician or Degree Qualified Electrical Engineer with a proven track record in managing a team
- Ability to communicate effectively with all plant staff and senior management
- High level of problem-solving skills and technical awareness
- Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office
- Awareness of Health and Safety legislation and standards
- Instrumentation & Controls experience, including Programmable Logic Control (PLC)
