A snapshot of your peer group:

  • Minimum of three years in a professional environment preferably within a tax department
  • Good tax technical skills and detailed knowledge of income tax
  • Member of the Irish Taxation Institute or Qualified accountant (Chartered Accountant or equivalent)

Here is what you can initially expect:

  • Delivering and coordinating personal tax compliance services for our Irish and multinational clients;
  • Reviewing personal tax returns for private clients and expatriates;
  • Researching and resolving tax technical issues arising in the personal tax compliance process;
  • Keeping up to date with relevant legislation and case law;
  • Liaising closely with private clients and expatriates, the advisory tax team and KPMG global offices;
  • Creating and improving processes for the delivery of the personal tax compliance services;
  • Managing a team of tax associates in the delivery of personal tax compliance services;
  • Coaching and mentoring a team of tax associates including presenting inhouse tax training courses.
  • Opportunity to progress your career within the People Services advisory team after completing one to two years in the role along with an opportunity to support the team during quieter periods.

Your team:
Within People Services we have a dedicated Personal Tax Compliance team. We provide broad advisory, compliance, in relation to a company's workforce.

These services include personal tax return preparation and advisory services relating to Tax Compliance, Global Equity, Global Mobility, International Social Security and Employment Tax matters.

While KPMG's People Services practice is focused on helping global companies better manage their international workforce, the division also provides advice on private client and local employee matters.
