Pharmacy Technician sought in Dundalk, Louth to support Managing Pharmacist in dispensary, maintaining high ethical standards and delivering excellent customer care.
Excel Healthcare Recruitment is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our client's team in Dundalk, Louth. Our client is a growing company in the industry, looking for an ambitious individual who will fit in well with their aspiring team.
**Job Description:**
- Support the Managing Pharmacist in the dispensary in a busy and challenging environment.
- Work to agreed operating procedures to maintain the highest ethical standards and deliver excellent customer care.
- Accurately receive, record and assemble prescriptions, issue receipts and inform Pharmacists of changes in drug therapy and interactions between prescribed medications.
- Serve customers over the counter medicines and other pharmacy products as required.
- Fulfil requests for specific over the counter medicines using WWHAM questioning and recommend suitable medicines referring to the Pharmacist where appropriate.
- Ensure the smooth running of the dispensary, including maintaining computer records and ensuring paperwork is kept up to date and in line with Company procedures.
**Requirements:**
- IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies.
