Job Description
Experienced Checkout Manager sought for a busy retail store in North Dublin, responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the checkout area and managing staff to optimise productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the checkout department, ensuring exceptional customer service and accurate cash handling.
- Supervise and train checkout staff to maintain high standards of customer service and productivity.
- Schedule staff shifts and maintain adequate coverage to meet customer demand.
- Implement and monitor queue management strategies to reduce wait times and improve customer satisfaction.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and store policies, and assist in the development and implementation of departmental procedures.
Requirements
- 1-2 years experience in retail management, preferably in a checkout department.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a focus on delivering results.
