Health and Safety Advisor sought for Dublin-based construction site to ensure compliance with regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
We are working with a leading main contractor in Ireland to find an experienced Health and Safety Advisor for their Dublin site. As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for upholding the health and safety standards of the site and ensuring that all staff, management, and sub-contractors are aware of and adhere to these standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing emergency procedures and responding to health and safety-related complaints or issues
- Keeping a focus on health and safety within the business and staying up to date with new legislation
- Leading in-house training on health and safety issues and risks
- Outlining safe operational procedures and communicating them to all employees
- Keeping records of inspections, findings, and incidents
- Delivering Toolbox Talks and liaising with relevant authorities
Requirements:
- Recognised EHS Degree or Diploma (NEBOSH diploma or equivalent qualification preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Previous construction experience
- IT skills
