IT Support Specialist Contract in Cork, providing end-user support and troubleshooting for a variety of IT systems, including desktop hardware, software, and networking equipment.
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team in Cork. This role is perfect for someone with a solid foundation in end-user support and a diverse set of technical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for a variety of IT systems, including desktop hardware, software, and networking equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating to Level 3 support when necessary.
- Document all support activities and maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventories.
- Participate in the setup and configuration of new user workstations and network devices.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on end-user support and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with Active Directory for user account management.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals, or equivalent are a plus.
