Responsibilities
- Lead the detailed civil engineering design of pavements, underground drainage, and utilities for site development works on large industrial projects.
- Proactively coordinate with project managers, design disciplines, construction management teams, contractors, and clients.
- Manage the timely delivery of civil engineering design to an excellent standard.
- Carry out periodic inspections of works on site for quality and BCAR purposes.
- Contribute to the continuous development of the civil engineering department.
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering (Masters an advantage).
- Chartered with Engineers Ireland or similar body.
- Minimum 10 years' experience with at least 5 years' experience in the detailed design of large industrial projects in the pharmaceutical, data centre, or oil & gas sectors.
- Proficient with the use of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, and AutoTRACK.
- Additional experience in the use of Revit an advantage.
