Process Engineer for Pharmaceutical Projects
We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to lead the execution of pharma process engineering from design to project handover, working with a global pharmaceutical client.
About the Role
As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for leading various stages of projects from concept to detailed design, supporting and mentoring team members, and coordinating with other design disciplines and equipment suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of pharma process engineering from design to project handover, including C&Q
- Develop designs from concept development to detailed design, construction, and commissioning
- Prepare and update PFDs and P&IDs as part of process design development
- Coordinate the Process Design Team to achieve project deliverables
- Provide technical input and support for Process Design Team
- Develop process solutions for new NPI, new projects, and complex situations
- Interfacing with client design team/client stakeholders
- Lead technical and safety reviews
- Design of process and utilities - preparation of PFDs, P&IDs, equipment sizing calculations
Requirements
- Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years process experience within the pharmaceutical sector
- Knowledge of GMP regulations and industry standards
- Awareness of process engineering and process safety management
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
