Job Description
Process Engineer required to improve manufacturing processes and develop optimal molding solutions.
Reports directly to the Engineering Manager.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Introduce new products into the company and compile standard specifications.
- Execute projects related to new products, continuous improvement, and lean programs.
- Optimize existing processes using statistical techniques.
- Work with production leaders to troubleshoot processing problems.
- Establish relationships with customers and suppliers to drive continuous improvement.
- Solve customer-related problems and close internal quality and CAPA actions.
- Instruct others on manufacturing-related skills and knowledge.
- Coordinate documentation development in production and technical areas.
Basic qualifications:
- National Diploma Level 7 or 8 in Plastics Engineering or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in the injection molding industry.
- Good knowledge of injection molding, tooling, and design.
Preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Experience in medical, packaging, or technological industries.
- Knowledge of real-time monitoring systems and statistical process control.
- Good data analysis capabilities and familiarity with statistical software.
