**Job Summary:** Experienced Plant Manager sought for Longford site to lead production, safety, and quality initiatives, driving efficiency and growth in the timber-frame business. Glennon Brothers supplies both the UK and Irish markets with products for the construction, pallet wood, and fencing industries. **Job Description:** As Plant Manager for the Longford site, you will be responsible for leading the production team to achieve maximum efficiency and quality in the timber-frame business. You will work closely with the Head of Timber-frame Ireland, Design department, Site Installation teams, and Group Capital & Development team to drive growth and improvement. **Key Responsibilities:** * Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with regulatory standards * Develop and implement production plans to maximise return on investment * Drive efficiency and standardisation across the business through continuous improvement * Lead and support the people agenda, including recruitment, onboarding, development, and employee engagement * Establish regular production meetings to ensure delivery of the production plan * Form strong working relationships with Shift Managers and Supervisors * Contribute to the development of the capital investment strategy plan and implementation of capital and NPD projects **Essential Skills and Experience:** * Qualification in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or related field * Minimum 5 years Plant/Site Management experience, preferably in Timber-frame or Modular building, Off-site Manufacturing * Strong organisation skills, attention to detail, and ability to lead by example * Experience in promoting a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards * Ability to drive efficiency and reduce complexity in processes * Strong communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships **About the Company:** Glennon Brothers is a leading timber processor in Ireland and the UK, with a strong growth story and ambitious plans for the future.
