Job Description
Sisk Strategic Projects, a services division within John Sisk & Son, is seeking a Senior Health & Safety Advisor to lead the implementation of a professional, competent, and knowledge-shared culture across all sites.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills.
- Assist the BU HSE Manager in rolling out company strategy and expectations.
- Carry out high-quality safety inspections of Sisk workplaces.
- Perform risk reviews.
- Attend sites following accidents/incidents and assist with investigation.
- Liaise with enforcement authorities.
- Understand bespoke client requirements and tailor management system.
- Alert line manager to signs of deterioration or lack of ownership.
- Assist with tender and pre-qualification submissions.
- Attend Start Up meetings with Sisk site teams.
- Coach staff in Health and Safety expectations and standards.
Requirements
- At least 6 years as a Health and Safety professional.
- NEBOSH Construction Diploma or Construction Certificate or equivalent.
- Temp Works Awareness and knowledge of TWC role.
- Incident Investigation Training.
