Role:
Senior Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/Intune) Engineer

Location:
Cork, Ireland


Due to continued expansion of the Enterprise Endpoint Enablement (EUC) team and the continued enlargement of Microsoft SCCM & Intune solutions across the global enterprise, a position has become available.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing & maintaining the SCCM/InTune platform, escalations from service desk and continued development of the platform to meet business needs.

The successful candidate will be required to engage with Business users and other teams across the enterprise to ensure that the Endpoint management platforms meet the requirement of the organization.

The role will require liaison with other solutions trains, IT stakeholders, Security and other users.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with the existing Endpoint Engineering team to maintain, modernise and enhance the existing Endpoint management solutions
  • Design and Implement Enhanced Endpoint Solutions from inception through to successful deployment
  • Work with the team to innovate, automate and evolve the Endpoint Management solutions across all target OS platforms (Windows/iOS/Android/macOS)
  • Scale the existing platform to support the expanding enterprise growth needs
  • Provide Hardware Assessment and Benchmarking Solutions across new and emerging vendor releases
  • Act as a lead to enhance HW Asset Management standards and policies
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify their needs and provide corresponding solutions to satisfy business requirements successfully
  • Continue to stay up to date with new technologies
  • Ensure a seamless, simplified, secure user experience across all OS platforms

Experience, Education and Skills:

Required:

  • 5 years of experience working on SCCM/Intune or other equivalent Device management platforms in an enterprise environment
  • 5 years of experience in PowerShell or equivalent scripting technology including ability to develop automated solutions using scriptbased solutions
  • Ability to manage and maintain:
  • Core SCCM Server Infrastructure Design and Implementation
  • SCCM Collections, Site System role deployments including DP & PXE System Roles
  • SCCM Boundary Management
  • Intune Configuration Profiles/Compliance Policies
  • Autopilot Enrolment and Deployment
  • Strong Cyber Security Design and Engineering Skillset essential
  • Azure AD knowledge essential
  • Knowledgeable across multiple cybersecurity tools and features pertaining to enduser computing devices
  • Ability to partake and lead on cross collaboration team meetings
  • Windows Server OS troubleshooting
  • SQL server troubleshooting & maintenance
  • Software patch management & client support
  • Advanced PowerShell and other scripting experience considered advantageous
