Job Description
Seeking a Principal Planning & Environmental Consultant to work on large-scale projects for multinational clients in Ireland and Europe.
PM Group is a leading international engineering, architecture, project and construction management firm with a network of offices in Europe, Asia and the US.
As a Principal Planning & Environmental Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and managing development consents, compliance and planning strategy for large-scale projects.
- Participating in design process for layout, master planning and input or coordination of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIAR).
- Managing the interaction with multi-disciplinary project teams, clients and stakeholders.
- Liaising with County Councils, An Bord Pleanla and other statutory bodies as required.
- Engaging with environmental permitting including EPA Licence application process and/or the waste facility licencing process.
Requirements:
- A minimum qualification Level 8 or Level 9 NEQ qualification in Planning & Sustainable Development or related Environmental Science/Engineering discipline.
- Chartered planner (IPI, RTPI or equivalent) or working towards chartership.
- Relevant experience in the area of planning and environmental management/consultancy.
- Knowledge of Irish planning and environmental legislation, policy and practice.
- Project Management skills with attentiveness to critical dates and adherence to deadlines.
- Clear and confident verbal & written communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of report preparation (MS Word) and use of MS Excel.
- Proven track record of working on your own initiative.
