Job Description

Under new ownership, Sepura has an aggressive growth strategy and therefore we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Regional Director to lead the North and East Europe Sales team.The Regional Sales Director for North and East Europe is the Sepura face to our customers and partners and will be responsible for all sales, sales performance, and resourcing in the region. You will also be a major contributor to the Company’s strategic plan based upon your market knowledge, competitive intelligence, and business acumen.Your RoleThe ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, team player who puts the customer first, and can inspire and lead the North and East Europe Sales Team. What you do and how you do it will have a big impact on the future of the Company as we aim to be the market leader in mission-critical device solutions worldwide.Your Day to DayThere is no such thing as a typical day here at Sepura. You will be supported by your manager and team, as well as collaborating with other departments across the business. The Regional Director’s activities will include:Ownership and execution of a sales strategy for the Sepura business to our Customers across UK, Ireland, BeNeLux, Nordics, Baltics, and Eastern Europe.Lead, manage and develop your sales team, our partners and therefore your P&L.Develop a strong engagement with our End Customers, Channel Partners, and senior stakeholders in the territory, owning some key accounts, positioning Sepura as the primary brand for mission-critical devices.Develop the region and routes to market to optimize performance and provide maximum return on our investments.Be responsible for selling the portfolio to achieve or exceed sales targets delivering strong revenue and margin contributions in line with company targets.Be the primary source of competitive, market, political, and opportunity data in your region.Accurately forecast order intake and revenues in terms of value and timing.Implement strategies to remove risk from forecast opportunities working closely with other key departments to influence customers, e.g., Marketing, Product Management.Establish and maintain customer satisfaction.Support brand development in partnership with Marketing.This job involves regular travel and overnight stays throughout the region as well as regular visits to the UK Head Office. The successful applicant will have a full, clean driving licence and their own car (a car allowance will be provided). All reasonable travel expenses compliant with the Company Travel Expenses Policy will be paid.What you need to succeedQualificationsQualified to Degree level preferred with relevant end customer experience.Marketing, Business or Technical degree.Miller Heiman training is a plus.Experience and Skills5 years minimum sales experience and track record of success in selling wireless communications equipment, technology sales, or a customer-facing role in providing PMR solutions.A demonstrably thorough understanding of the mission-critical market.Familiarity with narrowband and broadband technologies and preferably good PMR industry knowledge.Good knowledge of direct and indirect sales to public safety and government customers.PersonalCustomer first, can-do attitude and a passion for the role.Self-motivated in challenging environments with the ability to think laterally, devise successful strategies and proven track record in delivery of strategies.Understanding of the tendering process and developing a win strategy.Strong will to win.Professional individual with the highest integrity.Extensive leadership and management of high-performing Sales teams.Full understanding of anti-bribery and anti-trust laws (regular training is given).Organisational SkillsConsultative and creative approach to selling and problem-solving.Ability to take ownership of tasks and work on own initiative and under pressure to meet Customer and company deadlines.Able to organise and effectively manage Customer meetings.Clear communicator, persuasive and confident individual with good presentation skills.Good time management, people management and planning skills.Ability to organise, direct and utilise sales teams and other resources.Competent with Microsoft Office suite of software.Nice to haveGood understanding of the public safety market sector and the key operational requirements.Familiarity with broadband technologies (LTE) and their professional use cases.Establishing peer-to-peer relationships with senior decision makers – internally and externally.Situationally aware and able to ensure personal safety.Excellent language skills.Track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets. #J-18808-Ljbffr
