Accounting Technician role in a long-established accountancy firm in the north-west of Ireland, requiring a Fully Qualified or Part Qualified Accounting Technician with experience in bank reconciliations, VAT returns, and bookkeeping records.
Job Description
You will work within a dedicated team of accounting professionals, providing advisory and accountancy services to clients. Your duties will include:
- Bank reconciliations
- Preparation of accounts
- Completion of VAT returns
- Filing various returns through ROS
- Preparation of bookkeeping records
As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Fully Qualified or Part Qualified Accounting Technician working towards qualification
- 1 year's experience working in an accountancy firm
- Knowledge of Excel and accounting software
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work to strict schedules and deadlines
- Strong organisational skills
- Willingness to learn and develop your skills and career
