Job Description
Job Summary: We seek an Assistant Director of Nursing to oversee day-to-day operations, lead the nursing team, and develop individualized patient care plans in a semi-acute facility in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Nursing in ensuring compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
- Lead and mentor the nursing team, fostering excellence in patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
- Manage staff scheduling and ensure adequate patient care coverage.
- Drive continuous quality improvement by monitoring patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.
- Experience in step-down, rehabilitation, or long-term care settings is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in nursing care.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and staff development.
