Job Description
Assistant Psychologist role at TU Dublin: Provide mental health support to students in a busy team, working under supervision to develop skills for a doctoral programme in clinical or counselling psychology.
The Assistant Psychologists will join a large and busy team of psychologists and psychotherapists, working under the supervision of a Senior Counselling Psychologist. The team delivers regular on-going therapy to students within a Stepped-Care framework, ensuring an efficient and effective service.
- Work in step 1 of the model, providing therapy to students under supervision.
- Develop a wider Peer Support programme for students, working under the supervision of a Senior Psychologist.
The role is particularly suited to those seeking further experience in mental health to prepare for a doctoral programme in clinical or counselling psychology.
The working week is 35 hours, and the post will be based at one of the TU Dublin campuses.
