Cloud Support Engineer role at Amazon Web Services, providing technical support for AWS customers, troubleshooting and solving technical problems, and driving customer communication during critical events.

As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will be at the forefront of this transformational technology, assisting a global list of companies that are taking advantage of a growing set of services and features to run their mission-critical applications.

You will work with leading companies in this space and directly with the engineering teams within Amazon developing these new capabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Learning and using groundbreaking technologies
  • Responding to customer's technical inquiries via phone, chat and email
  • Troubleshooting and solving technical problems of AWS customers, and driving customer communication during critical events
  • Leveraging your day-to-day experiences to provide the voice of the customer to internal AWS teams

Cloud Support Engineer responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical support for AWS customers, troubleshooting and solving technical problems
  • Supporting multiple AWS services, depending on the assigned profile
  • Collaborating with global top engineers and AWS development teams to resolve customer issues
  • Providing feedback to internal AWS teams on customer service improvements
  • Supporting process improvements and customer technical support experiences
  • Contributing to the AWS customer community through tutorials and technical articles
  • Responding to complex and critical customer issues across multiple AWS services

Profile division:

  • Support team will allocate the candidate to the most appropriate profile based on their skills and interest
  • New joiners can learn various tech knowledge and skills through onboarding process

Basic qualifications:

  • Experience in software development or technical support
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
