Job Description
Seeking experienced Automation Engineers for a Pharmaceutical project in Ireland, with a focus on Foxboro IA and industrial automation solutions.
PACIV, a global leader in industrial automation, is looking for regular employment-based Automation Engineers for its Ireland office.
Responsibilities
- Design, specification, programming, and testing of control systems, including Foxboro IA, SCADA, Wonderware, and HMI.
- Specification, design, development, and testing of industrial SCADA, DCS, and PLC-based applications.
- Responsible for industrial automation/control system integration and related support systems.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to required quality standards.
- Knowledge and familiarity with the development and execution of C&Q documents and CSV deliverables.
- Knowledge of ISA's S88 standard, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology equipment and processes.
- Configuration/coding experience with Foxboro I/A HLBC.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Automation, Instrumentation, or Chemical).
- 6-10 years of industrial automation experience, preferably in the life sciences industries.
Desired Skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- HLBC Coding experience on Foxboro IA.
- Ability to work well under pressure and with uncertainty.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Organized, with strong computer literacy.
Valid European Union work permits are required.
Travel to clients, suppliers, and collaborators within Ireland.
