Job Description
We are seeking an Instructor to join our team, providing training and support to individuals with disabilities and their families.
Fixed term, 12 months, 36 hours.
The Instructor will be responsible for the training and development of Learners in accordance with the agreed local training programme specifications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and delivering the NEW DIRECTIONS programme with competence
- Providing systematic training according to specified curricula
- Maintaining records of all training and producing reports as required
- Carrying out one-to-one key working and assisting learners in developing person-centred plans
- Using a variety of methodologies to support achievement of learners' goals
Requirements:
- Third level qualification, preferably within the Education/Training or Social Sciences sector
- Relevant pedagogical/training qualification - Train the Trainer QQI Level 6 as a minimum
- Number of years relevant occupational experience of working with Learners in educational, guidance and/or developmental contexts
- Experience in QQI certification and accreditation processes
