A leading European Financial Services provider seeks an IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance Consultant for a project focused on the Digital Operational Resilience Act. The consultant will ensure the organization's IT infrastructure and operations comply with DORA's regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include regulatory compliance, risk management, governance, operational resilience, audit and reporting, and stakeholder collaboration. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field, experience in IT governance, risk management, and compliance, and knowledge of DORA regulations and GRC tools. The role is a daily rate contract until January 2025, with the view to extend. The consultant will work on-site 2 days a week and remotely 3 days a week. The consultant will interpret and apply DORA requirements, conduct gap analyses, and develop policies to ensure compliance. They will perform risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement risk mitigation strategies. The consultant will establish and maintain IT governance frameworks aligned with DORA and provide training on governance practices. They will design and implement strategies to enhance IT system resilience, develop incident response and disaster recovery plans. The consultant will conduct internal reviews, prepare reports on compliance and risk assessments, and maintain documentation. They will work with IT GRC, legal, and business teams and provide expert advice on GRC-related matters. The consultant will have strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. They will have experience in project management, familiarity with regulatory frameworks like GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST, and experience in business continuity planning and disaster recovery. The role requires a strong understanding of DORA regulations and GRC tools. The consultant will work closely with the IT GRC team to ensure compliance and risk management. They will provide training on governance practices and develop policies to ensure compliance.
