Life and Pensions Manager

A highly experienced professional is sought to lead a busy Life and Pensions office in Cork, overseeing a team and managing the intake, review, and processing of new applications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Life and Pensions administrators, including regular staff reviews and general management.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for policy administration to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Approve and process applications in accordance with product rules, regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company processes.
  • Monitor and review customer policy change requests, ensuring timely and smooth processing of funds.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with customers throughout the application and policy lifecycle.
  • Oversee a high level of customer service, ensuring all interactions are handled proactively, promptly, and professionally.
  • Establish and maintain regular communication and collaboration with Company Directors.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities, driving process improvement and business growth.
  • Lead initiatives to define and improve processes, including the adoption of new technologies or methodologies.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices.
  • Establish and maintain excellent customer and broker relations to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related Financial services field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience within the Insurance Industry (preferable Life and Pensions).
  • Ability to identify areas for improvements and provide customer-focused solutions.
