Job Description
Join a leading global Pharmaceutical Manufacturer in Cork as an experienced MES Engineer. Design and develop electronic batch records, deliver changes, and provide day-to-day support for the MES system. Key responsibilities include working with the business to design and deliver changes, supporting and troubleshooting issues, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities. Monitor and report key KPIs and metrics.
Responsibilities include:
- Design and develop electronic batch records/workflows
- Deliver changes to existing electronic batch records and weigh & dispense systems
- Support and troubleshooting of MES system issues
- Develop and execute MES computer system validation deliverables
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities
- Monitor and report key KPIs/metrics
Requirements include:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Experience in implementing technical/MES solutions in a GMP environment
- Experience in Object Oriented programming languages and Visual Basic scripting
- Experience in troubleshooting and supporting an MES system
- Good working knowledge of automation systems, Historians and DCS
- Knowledge of GMPs, regulatory requirements, and computer system validation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
