Job Description
Experienced Project Manager sought to lead key site investment projects from concept to handover, managing diverse capital and revamp projects in Process, Utilities, and Automation/IT systems.
PM Group, an employee-owned international project delivery firm, is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their growing team. With a proven ability to work in partnership at all levels, the ideal candidate will have excellent people skills and a strong understanding of all engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe execution of all phases of the project
- Overall responsibility for technical/commercial delivery and execution of a task
- Develop the Quality Plan and Project Compliance Tracker
- Review and understand commercial aspects of the project
- Define the scope of the project and PM Group's scope of work
- Organise the File Index, Facilities, and Kick-off Meetings
- Develop a project execution strategy and agree same with the PM Project Team and the Customer
- Monitor the effectiveness of the strategy and modify as necessary
- Develop construction/contracting strategy and implement
- Identify resource needs, timing, and organize with resource owners
- Coordinate the design between all disciplines
- Prepare Project Monthly Internal Report for PM Group Management
- Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory obligations
- Identify and assess risk to project and to PM Group
Qualifications:
- Primary Honours/Bachelor Degree (Level 8) in Engineering/Construction/Science or related discipline
- Professional Qualification in Project Management
- Registered in a recognised project management professional body
- A minimum of 12 years relevant experience
- Good understanding of all engineering disciplines
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent commercial skills
- Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook
- Proven experience in multiple project delivery
