We are excited to announce an opening for a Firmware Engineer in our R&D Department. As a Firmware Engineer, you will specialize in embedded firmware development, designing, developing, testing, and implementing firmware solutions for various embedded systems. The ideal candidate is a proficient engineer with a passion for hardware-software integration and solving complex problems. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement firmware for embedded systems, ensuring high performance and reliability. Work alongside the internal development team to integrate firmware with hardware components and conduct thorough testing to ensure system functionality and stability. Create and maintain documentation for firmware designs, development processes, and testing procedures. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality embedded solutions. Provide feedback and analysis to management through ad hoc reporting and data analysis. Implement new processes and procedures related to firmware development and integration. Experience Required: Strong experience in software engineering processes and structures, with a focus on embedded firmware development. Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ for embedded systems. Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture and hardware-software interaction. Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and low-level device drivers. Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, CAN). Knowledge of debugging and testing tools for embedded systems. Essential and Desirable Skills: BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ for embedded systems. Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture. Knowledge of GitHub for version control.
