Vacancy for ABA Tutors, Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist and Psychologist in Hope Autism Care Centre, Dublin 15, Dublin 8, Limerick & Cork Hope Montessori Autism Care Centre (EMP REG. 9789696A) is looking to hire 15 qualified and experienced ABA tutors, 1 Occupational Therapist, 1 Speech and Language Therapist, and 1 Psychologist to work in our ASD classes with children between the ages of 3-6 in our Dublin, Limerick & Cork Centers. Job Types: ABA Tutor - Full-Time Position (€34,000 per annum) Occupational Therapist - Full-Time Position (start wages - €37,000 per annum) Speech and Language Therapist - Full-Time Position (start wages - €37,000 per annum) Psychologist - Full-Time Position (start wages - €37,000 per annum) Working Hours: 39 hours per week. Essential Criteria: The ideal candidates for ABA Tutor MUST have a passion for working with children with additional needs and all the following: Must have a degree in Early Childhood Education and Primary Education. Must be registered with the Teaching Council Ireland, with proof of registration number (or meet the criteria to apply for one). Must have qualifications assessed and recognised by the DCEDIY (with proof of qualification recognition letter from the DCEDIY). MUST be highly proficient in spoken and written English Language (or have proof of a minimum of C1 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS)). The ideal candidates for Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist, Psychologist, & Board Certified Behaviour Analyst must meet the following criteria: Must be registered in their home countries and also meet the requirements to be accredited and registered with the appropriate and recognised professional bodies in the Republic of Ireland. The successful candidates will be required to work within the pre-school ASD classes by providing professional support to children with speech delay or speech difficulty, sensory processing disorder, challenging behaviour, continuous psychological assessment, generate Individualised Education Plan (IEP) for children, monitor the implementation of same, design a Behaviour Support plan (BSP), monitor the implementation of same, put professional strategies in place for ABA tutors with appropriate training on how to implement same, monitor children’s progress and areas of challenges with proper intervention in place, etc. Hope Autism Care Centre provides ongoing training and opportunities for further development to staff.
