Accessibility Test Engineer

Full remote daily rate contract opportunity

Must be based within Ireland, no sponsorship available

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute automated accessibility tests.
  • Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams to ensure product accessibility.
  • Coordinate testing activities with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Triage accessibility issues and provide technical guidance.
  • Create and maintain accessibility documentation and training materials.
Skills

  • Proficiency in automated testing tools (e.g., Protractor, Selenium WebDriver, WatiN).
  • Expertise in accessibility testing tools (e.g., Axe, ACE, JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, ChromeVox, TalkBack).
  • Strong coding skills, preferably in Java.
  • Experience with RESTful web services testing and database interactions.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of software development and automated testing experience.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • CPACC or WAS certification preferred.
