Accessibility Test Engineer
Full remote daily rate contract opportunity
Must be based within Ireland, no sponsorship available
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated accessibility tests.
- Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams to ensure product accessibility.
- Coordinate testing activities with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Triage accessibility issues and provide technical guidance.
- Create and maintain accessibility documentation and training materials.
- Proficiency in automated testing tools (e.g., Protractor, Selenium WebDriver, WatiN).
- Expertise in accessibility testing tools (e.g., Axe, ACE, JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, ChromeVox, TalkBack).
- Strong coding skills, preferably in Java.
- Experience with RESTful web services testing and database interactions.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of software development and automated testing experience.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- CPACC or WAS certification preferred.
