Job Title: Accommodation Supervisor Department: Accommodation Reports to: Accommodation Manager Purpose of job: To assist the Accommodation Manager in the smooth and efficient running of the Accommodation Department ensuring standards and guest satisfaction are maintained at all times thus ensuring revenue is optimized. Key Responsibilities: To reflect and enhance the hotels Mission Statement and objectives in all activities To ensure appropriate quality standards are documented and adhered to at all times and regularly reviewed to take into account changing customer requirements To ensure appropriate levels of customer care are delivered at all times To assist in setting budgets and controls appropriate to ensure maximum profitability in all areas responsible for To maximise all sales opportunities and to promote a selling environment throughout the department ensuring that sales targets are met To promote good team relations in the department ensuring fairness and consistency in all dealings with team members To adhere to all Human Resources Management procedures and develop these as required To be aware of relevant competitor information and market changes and to initiate changes to our services where appropriate To ensure comprehensive guest histories are kept and used in all areas of responsibility and to contribute to guest histories in other areas To assist the Accommodation Manager to draw up rosters in line with business needs In the absence of the Accommodation Manager to hold daily team briefings in the department to ensure effective communication To ensure a high level of hygiene throughout the department at all times To assist the Accommodation Manager in ensuring an appropriate and comprehensive customer feedback system is in operation and the results are reflected in services and training To ensure the upkeep and maintenance of area of responsibility i.e. equipment, furniture and fittings ensuring an effective preventative maintenance system and schedule is in operation.
