Job Description

Aviva seeks an experienced Account Manager to drive growth and development of core profitable product ranges within the broker market.

This role requires a deep understanding of the Ireland Life & Pensions market, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving set targets, building and maintaining business relationships, and developing new intermediaries to widen Aviva's support base.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining excellent business relationships with a panel of intermediaries to deliver agreed sales targets
  • Developing a key understanding of intermediaries and their customers' objectives, business needs, and areas of opportunities for Aviva to grow
  • Developing new intermediaries to widen Aviva's support base
  • Developing and maintaining strong business relationships with internal stakeholders in Aviva
  • Gaining a deep understanding of competitors' proposition and pricing to be more effective in the role
  • Ensuring that all regulatory requirements are adhered to
  • Managing all activities and outputs to ensure customers are treated fairly

Requirements:

  • Minimum QFA qualification and ideally RPA or SIA
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Full understanding of the Ireland Life & Pensions market
  • Good knowledge of Aviva's product range, including core profitable products
  • Ability to develop both internal and external relationships with key stakeholders
  • Results-oriented
  • Exemplary relationship management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Extensive industry experience
  • Ideal experience of managing complex relationships, taking ownership, and resolving potential issues
  • Understanding and experience of a corporate environment, including working within agreed governance and risk policies/guidelines
