Job Description

Manage KYC controls and processes in the Americas region, ensuring regulatory compliance and minimizing seller impacts.

Amazon's Selling Partner Account Compliance team is hiring a programme manager to oversee KYC controls and processes in the Americas region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, measure, and improve key Customer Experience metrics across the KYC functions within the Americas region.
  • Proactively identify situations that may pose significant compliance risk and guide management in the development/reviewing of applicable policies, procedures, and business practices.
  • Participate and collaborate in the review and analysis of new regulatory developments and maintain oversight of developments impacting business activities.
  • Ensure implementation of key processes within the company to meet regulatory framework.
  • Work closely with key functional organizations to ensure proper implementation, reporting, and change management.
  • Provide assistance and input on risk assessments.
  • Interface with Product and Engineering teams to provide requirements and inputs for new system development, assist with user testing, and represent Compliance in stakeholder meetings.
  • Establish a cadence with business self-testing and Compliance controls and monitoring teams to ensure key controls are being tested and monitored on an ongoing basis.
  • Participate and collaborate in the review and analysis of new SOPs, enhancement of existing SOPs, and work closely with operations in rollout of initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent.
  • Experience handling confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials.
  • Experience with SQL and Excel.
  • Experience in program requirements definition, together with data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements.
