Our Client:Reputable and rapidly growing Cloud & Managed Service Provider, optimising and managing IT infrastructure for both Public & Private Sector organisations across Cyber Security, Network, Infrastructure, Data & AI, Modern Workplace and Business Applications.About the Role:As Key Account Director, you will establish and nurture strong, enduring relationships with key business clients, serving as the primary point of contact to fulfil and surpass their expectations.The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the MSP operating environment, as well as a proven track record of developing positive customer and vendor relationships.Responsibilities:Client Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong, enduring relationships with key business clients, serving as the primary point of contact.Strategic Planning: Formulate and execute strategic account plans to ensure client satisfaction and drive business expansion objectives.Collaboration: Collaborate intimately with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, technical support, and senior leadership teams to ensure a unified strategy in managing and advancing key accounts.Contract Negotiation: Spearhead contract negotiations and finalise agreements to maximise profitability while guaranteeing the provision of premium Managed IT services.Market Analysis: Keep abreast of industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the business sector and across the local geography to offer clients state-of-the-art solutions and sustain a competitive advantage.Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on key account metrics, delivering consistent updates to both internal and external stakeholders.Budget Management: Oversee account budgets, ensuring that financial objectives are achieved and resources are allocated to meet client needs.Client Advocacy: Serve as a champion for the client within the organisation, making certain that their insights and requirements are conveyed and addressed.Project Oversight: Aid in the successful execution of IT projects and services, ensuring they are appropriately scoped, commercially proposed, and delivered, with an emphasis on service excellence from the outset.Issue Resolution: Act as a point of escalation and guarantee that any critical requests or escalations are managed by the relevant teams for a prompt resolution.What we're looking for:Experience: At least 5 years of progressive leadership experience in account management or business development is required. Experience within the IT Managed Services sector is highly desirable, particularly in managing strategic business accounts.Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, or a related field is essential. Additional qualifications in business strategy, sales, or marketing are advantageous.Strong Communication: The ability to clearly and effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders is essential. This includes both verbal and written communication, ensuring clarity and precision in all business interactions.Customer-Centric Empathy: A profound understanding of and empathy for the needs and challenges faced by businesses, ensuring that solutions are customised to meet their unique operational requirements.Leadership and Influence: Capacity to lead and motivate both internal teams and clients, propelling projects forward and securing alignment with strategic business objectives.Problem-Solving: A proactive stance in identifying and addressing issues, with the capability to think critically and innovatively, to achieve the best possible outcome. #J-18808-Ljbffr
