Job Description

Account Director for Cloud Solutions: Drive sales of professional services, management services, and products in the information technology field, particularly to executives in the Commercial and Enterprise space.

Presidio is a leading global digital services and solutions provider accelerating business transformation through secured technology modernization.

As an Account Director, you will be responsible for acquiring new customers in the cloud solutions, managed service, and cyber security domains.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Achieve sales objectives through sales to new customers and additional services to existing customers.
  • Discover client business needs and propose appropriate product or service.
  • Manage territory, including account planning and opportunity management.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about Presidio's products and services.
  • Ensure assigned accounts meet or exceed client satisfaction through up-selling.
  • Properly forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue numbers for assigned territory.
  • Work with key partners to drive associated product revenue.
  • Successfully negotiate contracts.
  • Provide feedback from field experience to sales management with regards to product, selling, and competitive matters.
  • Build and maintain trusting relationships with associates and customers.
  • Effectively transfer thoughts and express ideas using speech and listening skills to influence others and gain support.

Required skills include:

  • Extensive knowledge of the public cloud and ICT services market with an understanding of how customers are utilizing technologies to drive business outcomes.
  • 5+ years' sales experience, ideally with 2+ years' experience selling consulting services in one or more of the following areas:
    • Public Cloud
    • Managed Services
    • Network Services
    • Cyber Security Services
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding annual quota.
  • Demonstrated ability to present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.

Education and experience requirements include:

  • 5+ years information technology sales required.
  • Experience working within the Cloud Solutions industry.
