Job Description
We are recruiting an experienced qualified Accountant to work on our client site. This is a contract role, until the end of January 2025. You must be currently based in Dublin and be available to start immediately. About the Role: You will be required to: Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. Detailed understanding of financial management structures and accounting ideally within the public sector. Significant input into the development of financial manuals and instructions for both finance and non-finance staff. Experience of flowcharting and defining/enhancing processes is highly desirable. Detailed understanding of payroll (PAYE/PRSI etc.) and expenses and a working knowledge of payroll systems. Good working knowledge of relevant taxes - including VAT and PSWT. Detailed knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts receivable and experience in creating payment files. Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations including bank. Preparing Financial Reports to inform decision making, and practical experience of audits. Skills: acca aca accountant Benefits: Salary
