Job Description
The Company Our client is a growing organisation undergoing a restructure of their Finance team and they have a new requirement for a Group Accountant to manage their financial reporting requirements initially on a contract basis. Reporting to the Financial Controller this role will take ownership of the preparation of month end accounts for a number of entities across the group. The Position Due to a recent acquisition they are implementing a new reporting model back to their parent company. This role will work alongside the FC to implement a group reporting pack. It will involve all aspects of finance including: Prepare and consolidate financial accountsalong with commentary to agreed deadlines Balance sheet reconciliations Cashflow External financial reporting Preparation of regulatory returns Financial statement preparation Involvement in internal and external audit Prepare ad-hoc month-end analysis requested by Management Involved in additional ad-hoc finance duties and projects as required The Person: Qualified Accountant with excellent communication skills Strong IT skills, in particular advanced Excel Ability to work in fast-paced industry Self-motivated Interested?
