Broadgate has partnered with a leading Financial Services Group in the appointment of an Accountant to its Dublin based finance team.
This role's main focus will be to maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records for our legal entities, ensuring they comply with monthly and quarterly reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting Ownership: Take full responsibility for legal entity accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis.
- Regulatory Compliance: Assist in preparing regulatory returns and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Tax Support: Contribute to the preparation of tax returns, such as corporation tax provisions and VAT filings.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly finance reports for business units and collaborate with partners to ensure accurate reporting.
- Audit Support: Participate in the annual audit process, including preparing audited financial statements and providing necessary support to external auditors.
Skills & Qualifications needed:
- Part-Qualified or Finalist level accountant (ACA, ACCA)
- Good understanding of IFRS and US GAAP
- Experience with IFRS financial statements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently
- The ability to work to strict deadlines
