Job Title: **Senior Financial Accountant ** Why apply for this role: €75,000 - €85,000 Hybrid working Bonus Benefits including Pension and Healthcare Career progression! The Company: A leading Multi-National Insurance firm, with a City Centre Office. Part of one of the largest life insurance organisations in the world, with interests in life insurance, health insurance, investments, retirement savings and reinsurance. Key Responsibilities: Annual Statutory Financial Statements The coordination, preparation and review of statutory financial statements under local GAAP. Solvency II Reporting The coordination, preparation and review of all Pillar 3 reporting under Solvency II. Projects Participate in a variety of other projects to improve and develop the reporting processes (including reporting requirements currently emerging in relation to ESG / Sustainability). Risk, Control & Regulatory Environment Ensure familiarity with risk management programmes including Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR) as they impact on this position, and follow appropriate risk management procedures to control, monitor and report on business activities. Ensure compliance with group policies, regulatory, professional, and legal requirements. Your Experience A qualified accountant with proven post qualification experience in a financial services environment and evidenced continuous professional development (CPD). Experience with Solvency II regulatory reporting, insurance accounting and performing a group reporting role would be advantageous. Will have a strong awareness of technical financial accounting issues and developments. Strong IFRS and FRS insurance accounting experience. Extensive knowledge of SAP would be an advantage. Experience in taking pro-active responsibility for commercial and control issues and interacting with management on same.
