Job Description

Job Summary Provide accounting support for ZOML such as assisting with the preparation of month end management accounts, accruals, and other associated duties.Support the Finance Team in maintaining processes & procedures that support the organisations business & control requirements. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Support the month end close process Journals and Balance Sheet Reconciliations for Overhead accruals, Intercompany and Fixed Assets. Monthly Inventory Cycle Counts including preparation of same for verification by external auditors. Assist in Monthly Corporate Submission including month end results and other requirements. Assist the completion of the annual financial audit and any internal audits. Work with & support other functions to communicate financial information to the organisation. Other Statutory Returns for the business including CSO, IDA. Grant Submissions to IDA. Overview and responsibility of the statutory and compliance calendar for the company ensuring adherence and compliance. Review and adherence with all aspects of the companys internal control policies and procedures. Actively seek to implement continuous improvement in area of responsibility Other accounting duties as and when needed This is not an exhaustive list of duties or functions and may not necessarily comprise all of the "essential functions". Education/ Experience Requirements 3rd level degree in Business or a Finance related field. Qualified Accountant with qualifications such as (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA). Ideally suit someone looking to transition from Practice to Industry or with 1-2 years post qualified industry experience. Experience of working with integrated business systems (preferably JD Edwards) High degree of computer literacy including Microsoft Office. Travel Requirements Up to 5%.
