Management Accountant - 6 Month Contract - Cork
Our client, a well-established business in Cork, is looking for a newly qualified accountant to join a growing finance function on an initial 6-month contract.
As the group is entering a critical period of strategic growth and development, this is a key hire within the finance function.
The ideal professional is someone who is ambitious, adaptable, and can work in an individual capacity as well as part of a team within the wider group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the management team with finance software upgrade.
- Prepare management accounts in line with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare financial reports for management.
- Prepare financial data for migration to new finance software.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting as required.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA qualified professional with 1-2 years post-qualified experience.
- A background working within FMCG or manufacturing businesses, ideally within a group structure.
- Experience in accounting systems such as SAP. Experience with a previous ERP implementation is a distinct advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
