Job Description

Management of the day-to-day running of the finance function, aligning activities to the company vision and mission, while ensuring full compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations. Key responsibilities include managing cash-flow, overseeing procurement and payroll, and monitoring debtors and creditors. The role requires the preparation of financial statements, annual budgets, and monthly accounting reports, as well as the implementation and review of financial systems and internal controls. The successful candidate will have appropriate professional qualifications, such as ACA or ACCA, and 1 year of post-qualification experience in a similar senior role. Key skills include leadership and team management, problem-solving, and communication. The role will play an important part in the implementation of the overall strategic plan and the maintenance of a strong internal control environment. The position will report directly to the Financial Controller and will interact with internal and external stakeholders on all financial related matters. responsibilities include: Financial Management, Reporting & Financial Controls

  • Manage the preparation of the Annual Financial Statements, and external auditors
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders on all financial related matters
  • Help manage the preparation of annual budgets, in collaboration with the FC and Senior Management Team
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly accounting and financial reports
  • Ensure books are prepared for Audit and liaise with external Auditors
  • Support the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual budgets in consultation with the FC
  • Make recommendations on efficiencies and cost savings where appropriate
  • Manage the implementation and regular review of financial systems and internal controls ensuring the company fulfils its corporate governance obligations
