**Job Opportunity for Accountant in Southwest Dublin** A successful and growing company in southwest Dublin is seeking a qualified or part-qualified Accountant to take responsibility for financial management responsibilities and related functions within the business. **Key Responsibilities:** * Monthly staff payroll using Thesaurus * Financial reporting, including monthly management accounts, general ledger maintenance, and financial projections * Finance operations, including accounts payable and receivable, assisting staff to resolve issues, approving invoices and payments * Supporting customer service and sales teams * Stock control, including managing stock levels and processing purchase orders, receipt of stock and supplier invoices * Non-stock purchases on Sage * Compliance with statutory monthly Intrastat returns and WEEE reports, bi-monthly and quarterly VAT returns (ROI & NI), monthly quarterly and annual company secretarial * Year-end accounts and managing annual external audit **Requirements:** * Qualified or part-qualified Accountant * At least 3 years finance experience in a commercial trading environment * Strong organisational and planning skills * Team management experience * Ability to coach and mentor team members * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Experience dealing with multiple stakeholders and technical proficiency * Experience in Sage and Thesaurus an advantage, advanced MS Excel essential **Company Overview:** The company has grown over 35 years, with a staff of 65, and has a strong track record of success.
