Accountant ( Qualified or P/T Qualified ) Celtic Careershas partnered with a successful and growing company in West Dublin who is currently hiring a qualified / part qualified and experiencedAccountantto take responsibility for some of the financial management responsibilities and related functions within the business. This organisation, in existence over 35 years, with a staff of 65 has grown their activity organically and business with great success. Reporting to theFinance Managerand working closely with themanagement team, the successful candidates key responsibilities will include: Monthly staff payroll (Thesaurus). Financial reporting - monthly management accounts, general ledger maintenance, and financial projections. Finance operations - working with finance team responsible for accounts payable and receivable, assisting staff to resolve issues, approving invoices and payments. Supporting customer service / sales team Stock control to include managing stock levels and processing purchase orders, receipt of stock and supplier invoices. Processing non-stock purchases on Sage Compliance - statutory monthly Intrastat returns and WEEE reports, bi-monthly and quarterly VAT returns (ROI & NI), monthly quarterly and annual company secretarial. Year-end accounts and managing annual external audit Other duties as assigned by management Experience / Requirements Qualified or part qualified Accountant At least 3 years finance experience (as a qualified or part qualified accountant) in a commercial trading environment Strong organisational and planning skills Team management experience. Our client requires candidates seeking a role in a challenging environment. In addition, the position will over time involve assigning more responsibility to team members; your coaching and mentoring skills will come into play here. The successful candidate will have an appetite for continuous learning, will be an excellent communicator, highly organised with strong inter-personal skills. Experience dealing with multiple stakeholders as well as being technically proficient. Experience in Sage and Thesaurus an advantage and advanced MS Excel essential. This is a new role within the business due to growth and expansion development plans.
