Our Real Estate and Infrastructure (REIF) Team provides Fund Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Relationship Management services to clients. **Job Summary:** We are seeking an Accountant to join our REIF Team, providing expertise in Fund Accounting and Financial Reporting for Real Estate and Infrastructure Funds. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop knowledge of Fund Accounting requirements for Real Estate and Infrastructure Funds * Collect and analyze data to produce Net Asset Values (NAVs) and management accounts * Understand property transactions and approvals required * Liaise with internal departments, including Depositary, Legal, Transfer Agency, and Company Secretarial * Provide exceptional client satisfaction and contribute to the department's continuous improvement * Establish operating arrangements for new funds **Requirements:** * Professional Accounting Qualification in progress or already obtained * Previous experience in financial services or audit firm * Knowledge of Irish/UK GAAP and IFRS, Irish regulatory, and tax regimes * Strong communication and client service skills * Familiarity with Accountancy software and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) **About Northern Trust:** As a global leader in financial services, we are committed to providing innovative solutions and expertise to our clients.
