Job Description

Accountant role in the Real Estate and Infrastructure Team, providing Fund Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Relationship Management services to clients.

About the Role

  • Develop an understanding of Fund Accounting requirements for Real Estate and Infrastructure Funds and stay up-to-date with current market activities and industry developments.
  • Collect relevant information to produce Net Asset Values ("NAVs") and management accounts, and issue these accurately and within defined timeframes.
  • Understand the structure of property transactions and the process and approvals required.
  • Assist with the payment of operating expenses and liaise with internal departments.
  • Provide unrivalled client satisfaction and continuously improve the department's performance.
  • Ensure operating arrangements are clearly established on inception of a fund.

Requirements

  • Be on course towards gaining or hold a Professional Accounting Qualification.
  • Previous experience in financial services or audit firm.
  • Knowledge of Irish/UK GAAP and IFRS and Irish regulatory/tax regime.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Previous Client Services experience.
  • Previous exposure to Accountancy software.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
