We are seeking a dedicated Accounting Specialist to join our dynamic finance team based in North County Dublin. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of our client's operations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the financial health of our client's operations by delivering period end close, bank reconciliations, and assisting with audits.
- Deliver period end close including responsibility for overhead accounts with commentary on variances to budget.
- Complete bank reconciliations within D365 and review all banking activities to detect irregularities/differences.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for key accounts aiming for SOX compliance.
- Assist with group and local audits, supporting the analysis of orders/billing and business partnering with the marketing team.
Requirements:
- Ambition to progress as a senior finance professional with strong Excel skills, including Index Match/XLOOKUP.
- Highly confident in performing bank and other balance sheet reconciliations, with the ability to work to strict and demanding deadlines.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team in a challenging environment, with flexibility to provide cover across all areas in accounts.
- Comfortable working with multiple systems, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
This is a temporary position, offering a highly competitive salary of €42,000 - €45,000 per annum, plus a hybrid work arrangement with 3 days of work from home per week.
