If you have the qualities and drive to lead yourself or teams, there are roles ready to cultivate your skills and take you to the next level.Job Description:The BPP Supervisor for Europe and ISMEA will report to the Global BPP Manager.The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the management activities within the BPP Tower in the Dublin Global Accounting Center and supporting the Business Process Owner (BPO). The BPO is a third-party service provider completing transactional accounting work on behalf of UPS.Job duties:Manage and oversee work of the BPP Tower specialistsOverall BPO governanceReview and approval of BPO activities such as journal entries and reconciliationsOversee smooth running of high quality and timely month end closeEnsure compliance with Service Level Agreements and Operating Level AgreementsSupport process management and improvementSupport migration of record-to-report (RTR) work to the BPOManage reporting and stakeholder communicationIdentification and resolution of risks in a timely mannerAssess, understand and manage interdependencies between work streamsWork collaboratively with Accounting Controls and Reporting, Strategic Decision Support and Country Finance functions to resolve issuesQualified candidates will have the following Key Skills:Excellent communication, planning, organisational, and influencing skillsHigh levels of energy and commitment to hitting deadlinesWill actively seek out efficiencies and work with stakeholders to formulate and drive solutionsStrong capacity to communicate actions, implications of data and drive actionAbility to embrace and contribute to culture of process improvementExcellent team player and provide leadership to stakeholdersRobust evaluation and critical thinking skillsAbility to create an environment that encourages diversity of thought, perspective and an inclusive workplacePersonal Attributes Results based with a focus on stakeholder partnershipMotivation, ambition and tenacityExceptional analytical skill setAttention to detailAbility to work on own initiativeKnowledge RequirementsRequired:Minimum of 3-5 years of finance and accounting experienceBachelor’s degree from an accredited university in finance, accounting or businessDetailed knowledge of accounting processesExcellent Microsoft Office Skills (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Preferred:Qualified in a professional accounting qualification preferred (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA – MASTERS LEVEL Professional Qualifications).US GAAP experience/shared service environmentPrevious experience working with an outsourced accounting functionEmployee Type:PermanentUPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
