**Accounting Technician** **Job Summary:** Highly detail-oriented and analytical individual with 2-3 years experience required to join senior management team and ensure financial reporting integrity and accuracy. **About Doras Bu** Doras Bu is a community development resource centre and early years service providing high-quality supports and programmes to families in North-East Dublin. **Job Description:** * Work as a member of senior management team to ensure financial reporting integrity and accuracy * Support senior management team, sub-committees, and programme teams with Grants Acquisition and Management * Record transactions on Sage 50 and complete monthly reconciliations (income and expenditure) * Complete financial funder reports in accordance with funder agreements * Prepare year-end accounts and liaise with auditors * Process and pay payroll/revenue payments * Deal with financial correspondence * Assist with quarterly Management Accounts preparation * Manage clocking system * Day-to-day operation of finance function * Support staff with general personal HR enquiries * Work with CEO and BOM to design and implement finance strategy * Maintain finance policies and procedures * Prepare monthly reports and attend BOM meetings * Implement SORP accounts * Support/develop and financially manage funding grants for Finance and Audit Committee * Act in accordance with Data Protection principals **Key Responsibilities:** * Financial reporting and analysis * Grants Acquisition and Management * Financial planning and budgeting * Payroll and revenue management * Financial correspondence and communication * Management Accounts preparation * Finance policy and procedure maintenance * Data Protection compliance **Benefits:** * Paid holidays * Educational assistance programmes * Employee assistant programme * Staff training and development opportunities * Cycle to work scheme
